Charles:  Philosophy of Education . A minor branch, mainly concerned with what is correct way to educate a person. Philosophy of History . This is better understood when you read Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and Karl Marx. Within history, there is underlying principle. This could be extend on the changes in the course of history by influence of our consciousness. For my own definition, this could be a philosophy of changes in the human consciousness. Just tell me if you want me to explain it further . Patrycja: Tell me something about “consciousness”. I always like this word. Charles: Consciousness is very broad to explain to you but what I meant there is that the “state of mind” of the individual. The framework of one’s thinking is restricted within the parameters of this “consciousness” outside of it is not part of the human existence. Do you get me? Philosophy of language . This is a branch of philosophy that deals with how language affect our thought. Patrycj

Charles: Logic is another branch of philosophy, originally meaning the word, or what is spoken, but coming to mean thought or reason. It is the study of arguments. If you will research on this particular branch of philosophy, Polish philosophers are fond of studying Logic, a complex one. Logic is synonymous to rhetoric   which particularly deals with the proper argument. You may read it further. Patrycja: “Logic is synonymous to rhetoric   which particularly deals with the proper argument” . I don’t understand.. could you explain me? I am polish but without logic;) Rhetorics haha proper arguments! Like how you should speak to the public in a manner that is convincing because you follow the order and proper way of delivering such arguments.

Philosophy of Ethics. Charles: It is simply ethics or the philosophy of morals. Patrycja: Schopenhauer said that morality is not to discover but to create it.  Charles: Schopenhauer makes sense about ethics. Ethics came from the Greek word again, “ethos” means customs or practices. Ethics is a branch of philosophy that deals with the moral principles. What do you think ethics provides us? Kindly explain. Patrycja: The rules of life. In this time people have tendencies to bending the rules, changing them to justify themselves. The rules are rules, there is no “but” for example “this thing is of him but he wont be angry if I try a little bit”.. you know what I mean?

Charles:   Philosophy of knowledge calls:   Epistemology Patrycja: some points which made me think about: ●          Knowledge and Science make all changes in our lives.. ●      Karl Popper said that science starts when we start to criticize something. So for him the science is not when you sit at your room and you are thinking but when you observe and register acts of sciences people.  Charles: I am impressed! Karl Popper is one of my research interest. I will get back to him. Patrycja: ●      There is very important point of getting knowledge.. There are always changes what we studied and what we can read in old books.. because the concepts of life are changing. It is not that old science is bad done but the point is that they are not modern ●         The human mind is creative and there is no limit for it to explain things in new way. Charles: Epistemology comes from two Greek words, “episteme” means knowledge and “logos” means study. You know what I mean th

Patrycja: I will use the book “Philosophy” by Jenny Teichman and Katherine C.Evans to explain the definition. How do things exist? one thing is made by smaller things . Like the diamond, which is made of other material. Something exists because another thing exists.. In the book there is written “A city exists because the houses and roads exist. The landscape exists because the mountains and trees and rivers exist. The world exists of small parts which create it. They have to be in order and in configuration.” [1] The philosophers said that if something we can think about.. it is possible that it can exists.. like St. Clouse or Elfs. But the commentary of Bertrand Russel said that we have to have strong/ cold sense of reality. So I think his way of thinking is true one.. There is something like imagination.. a lot of people have a big imagination.. we can not think that Elf exists if nobody never saw it. ●         Metaphysics it is a study of existence where the question is what’s out there? ●         Epistemology is a study of knowledge  we ask how we know about sth.. ●         Ethics the branch of action  when we ask how we should do ●         Politics (Political Philosophy): the force of study ●         Esthetics (Aesthetics) the point of art how can life be like.

Patrycja: I would like to start the explication what Philosophy is from the sentence from the book called World of the Sofia: “ If we arent thinking about our life it is like why do not live” . Charles: You have watched the Sophie’s World? It is originally a book. You may read it if you have spare time. Patrycja: I have been read since 4 years. Little by little.. because the book is so good that I am worried finish it too early ;) Some people said that I should not use philosophy to things.  What does it mean?  It means: don’t share the situations, actions and things on the parts. Don’t think about reason of something and don’t think about destination of it. There is what is. The black is black and the white is white there is nothing in the middle.    Maybe to explain what is black and what is white we need philosophy  isn’t it?  Maybe it is not enough to say that something is, that something just exist.. So what is Philosophy.. it is the explication what the thing is, what t
